These are some brands with dark reality and creepy stories, from being setup to being world class, story of evolution and controversy.
Gucci
“To cry in a Rolls Royce is better to be happy on a bicycle” said by the greediest woman Patrizia Martinelli wife of Maurizio Gucci.
The story of Gucci is a fascinating journey through luxury, fashion, and family drama. Founded in Florence in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, the brand began as a small leather goods company known for its fine craftsmanship and attention to detail. Over the decades, Gucci expanded into a global powerhouse, synonymous with high fashion and Italian elegance.
However, the brand’s history is also marked by internal strife and controversy. In the 1980s and 1990s, the Gucci family faced bitter infighting and legal battles over ownership and control of the company. This tumultuous period included scandals financial troubles, and even murder.
In 1994, Maurizio Gucci, the last family member to lead the company, his wife influenced him to make Gucci an exclusive brand and due to her influence Maurizio decreased the Gucci products from 22,000 to 7000 and the numbers of stores reduced to 180 from 1000, this step made Gucci a luxury brand but due to inflation the sale reduced and Maurizio became bankrupt. He started selling his shares. He was assassinated in Milan by a hitman hired by his ex-wife. She wanted to acquire the wealth but Maurizio had sold all the shares just 2 days before of his assassination. The shocking crime made headlines around the world and further underscored the dramatic saga of the Gucci family.

A luxury brand which came into controversy due to its ad campaigns. This was not the first time that this brand has adapted this way of marketing but it has been several times before also.
Balenciaga was a Spanish luxury brand situated at Barcelona, founded by Cristobal Balenciaga. They used to make custom dresses only. After 17th century Cristobal became bankrupt due to financial problems he had to close the store and shifted to Paris where he restarted the company and it became a luxury brand. After his death, his children sold all the rights of the company and now “Kering” owns this company.
Balenciaga has been promoting child abuse and child pornography from many years in its ad shoots.
In its office ad shoot they’ve showed a book of a ‘balgium’ painter Michael Borremans. Who makes strange disturbing painting of children eating their body parts, bloodshed and many more of such child abuse paintings.
In another photoshoot of their handbag they have showed some documents so creatively that no one notice what has written on them but the documents are of Supreme Court’s case documents which talks about the legality of child pornography.

It is said that there models behaves walks very abnormally. Even in their ad shoots they indirectly promotes a demon named “Baal” who takes children and fulfils the wishes of the giver.
In child Photoshoots they use strange dolls, wine glasses, teddies with bondage dresses.
Victoria’s Secret
At first this brand was only catered to men. Founder Roy Raymond started the company after being unable to buy lingerie for his wife in a department store without suffering major embarrassment.
Whatever happened to him in that department store, Raymond overcompensated and made a lingerie shop that men could visit comfortably, but omen sort of could not. He designed the decor after what he imagined a Victorian brothel looked like.
The success of Raymond’s chain was pretty limited, because men only buy so much women’s underwear. With the company facing bankruptcy, Raymond sold Victoria’s Secret for $1 million. Then the new owners switched tracks and marketed to women, and Victoria’s Secret grew to be a multi-billion-dollar company. His new business venture went bankrupt, Raymond’s wife left him, and he jumped off the Golden Gate Bridge to his death.
